This
is an elegant, beautifully designed publication. Typography and graphics choices
work perfectly together. Cover and front endsheet cuts, while expensive, provide
contemporary flair.
The theme, Tradition, works well throughout the book, augmented by mini-themes
Spirit, Respect, Prestige, Focus, and Excellence, to package the coverage
in a pleasing presentation that helps to tell the story of the Northwood H.S.
year.
Copy is filled with details and appropriate student quotes to give the stories
meaning. Of special notation, error-free copy reflects particular attention
to detail often absent in high school yearbook production.
Photographic quality is generally consistent and truly captures the essence
of the Tradition story at Northwood in 2001-02. With the body prose and in-depth
captions, the photos provide the reader with the added glimpse (or reminder)
of this student experience. One can almost feel what it is like to be a member
of the community.

If it is a clean, classy, traditional look the staff wanted, they surely achieved it with this product. It looks a lot like a book produced about 10 years ago at Centerville H.S. in Ohio. At the time, that book, the Elkonian, broke ground as a trendsetter with its tradition theme, cover cutout, and elegant, classy overall look. It worked for them then and it works for you now. Good job.
