Hoosier Stars, 6 Merit schools lead Stars in 2002 competition Coverage of the newspaper Hoosier Star winners in 2002 plus judge's comments are available by clicking on the links below. Nearly 100 publications were evaluated by out-of-state judges. Those publications rated as "excellent" or "superior" became finalists in the Hoosier Star portion of the competition.
