Three high school seniors bound for Franklin College were the big winners in IHSPA's scholarship program that awarded $4,500 to five students and one teacher.

Ashley Crockett, Greenwood H.S.; Holly Essex, Plainfield H.S., and Lindsey Kelly, Columbus North H.S., all won $1,000 renewable "Undergraduate" Scholarships restricted to those students planning to major in journalism at Franklin College.

Two Franklin College journalism majors received scholarship renewals. Each student originally won their Undergraduate Scholarships as incoming freshmen.

Sarah Miller and Ryan Moore received $400 scholarships.

Hanna Arbogast, adviser at Kokomo High School won a $500 Mary Benedict Scholarship for New Advisers. Arbogast will use the scholarship to enroll in summer classes at Ball State.
